چکیده
This paper presents a Lyapunov function based control strategy for networked systems (NCS) affected by variable time delays and data loss. A special focus is put on the reduction of computational complexity. specific buffering mechanism defined first, such that it adds an additional delay up to one sampling period. The resulting buffered NCS can then be formulated as switched system which leads significant simplification model subsequent controller synthesis. novel approach does not only circumvent need any over-approximation technique, since used stability analysis directly, but also reduces infinite set allowable values dynamic matrix small finite set. proposed hereby strongly decreased number optimization variables linear inequalities (LMIs) allows greater flexibility with respect degrees freedom affecting transient behavior. performance efficiency are demonstrated means simulation example.

Design of Observer-based H∞ Controller for Robust Stabilization of Networked Systems Using Switched Lyapunov Functions
In this paper, H∞ controller is synthesized for networked systems subject to random transmission delays with known upper bound and different occurrence probabilities in the both of feedback (sensor to controller) and forward (controller to actuator) channels. A remote observer is employed to improve the performance of the system by computing non-delayed estimates of the sates. The closed-loop s...

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

This paper addresses control design in networked control system by considering stochastic packet dropouts in the forward path of the control loop. The packet dropouts are modelled by mutually independent stochastic variables satisfying Bernoulli binary distribution. A sliding mode controller is utilized to overcome the adverse influences of stochastic packet dropouts in networked control system...
متن کاملStabilization of Discrete-Time Switched Linear Systems: A Control-Lyapunov Function Approach
This paper studies the exponential stabilization problem for discrete-time switched linear systems based on a control-Lyapunov function approach. A number of versions of converse control-Lyapunov function theorems are proved and their connections to the switched LQR problem are derived. It is shown that the system is exponentially stabilizable if and only if there exists a finite integer N such...
متن کاملNetworked Control Systems: A Model-Based Approach
In this paper a class of networked control systems called Model-Based Networked Control Systems (MB-NCS) is considered. This control architecture uses an explicit model of the plant in order to reduce the network traffic while attempting to prevent excessive performance degradation. MB-NCS can successfully address several important control issues in an intuitive and transparent way. In this pap...
